The obelisk-like, amber-coloured monument was built as a timeline, marking Malaysia’s historical milestones from the Malacca sultanate’s formation, through independence, and the present day.


Kota Darul Ehsan

Kota Darul Ehsan is a marble arch symbolizing the border on Malaysian Federal Highway between the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur and Malaysian state of Selangor. Erected on route 2, it is the biggest arch in Malaysia. You are most likely to drive past the arch on your way from Kuala Lumpur to Petaling Jaya, or vice versa.

The Kris Monument or Tugu Keris is a huge monument in the shape of a kris in Klang, Selangor. It is located along Federal Highway route 2 near Taman Kris and Sungai Rasau toll plaza.

Tugu Negeri Selangor

The Selangor State Monument is located adjacent to the Selangor State Secretariat building in Shah Alam. It is a lovely and serene monument with a sweeping arch, reflecting pools and gold inscriptions.


Heroes Mausoleum
Makam Pahlawan

The Makam Pahlawan or Heroes' Mausoleum, is the burial ground of several Malaysian politicians. Makam Pahlawan is located within the grounds of the national mosque, Masjid Negara, in Kuala Lumpur.
