Alain Robert a.k.a the French Spiderman, is a French daredevil climber who has scaled skyscrappers around the world without ropes.
The Spiderman has climbed over 65 buildings around the world, including the Eiffel Tower, Las Vegas's Luxor Pyramid, London's Canary Wharf building, Abu Dhabi's National Bank, New York's Empire State Building and Chicago's Sear's Tower. In 2004 he fended off stormy weather to climb the world's tallest building, Taipei 101, in Taiwan's capital.
Alain climbs without rope. He has had several serious falls, resulting in fractures and operations. But for Alain, it's a kind of urban mountain. There is always a new urban Everest!

Hundreds of onlookers watched as he made his ascent. Using only his bare hands and feet, he scaled Tower 2 at around 3pm, holding on to the external steel protrusions.
The Twin Towers Remained A Challenge
He climbed up Tower 2 so quickly that within 20 minutes, he had reached the 18th floor before taking a rest at the 20th floor. Police arrived 15 minutes later and cordoned off the area as a crowd started to gather to watch the stunt. In a show of appreciation, he unfolded a Malaysian flag that he had kept in a waist pouch.
However, he quickly abandoned his climb when officers - while clapping him - ordered he to come in through a window.
They say he will be charged with trespassing if he is discovered to have undergone the mission without obtaining permission. If found guilty, he faces a fine of RM2,000 or up to a year in prison.
The Petronas Towers remained a challenge for Roberts who has repeatedly been denied permission to scale the building.

We set ourselves limits, but we are all strong enough to aim higher, to achieve our goals. All we have to do is find such strength within ourselves. Know how to develop it.
